Great find! We had a great overall experience at Tidewater Grill. Don't let the outside fool you—it's nothing special to look at from the parking lot, but the inside is well done, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for a smaller space. The food was excellent. The scallops were cleaned and cooked perfectly, and the buttery sauce was the perfect complement. The seafood broil was also excellent, with a little kick but nothing overpowering. The tuna steak was very good and cooked well. The seafood bisque is a must. Our six-year-old loved it so much she was scraping the bowl at the end. The entire staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. We were a table of four on a Sunday night and reserved a table seamlessly through the Google listing. The restaurant was busy but not packed, and we never felt rushed. If you're looking for a casual sit-down seafood restaurant in North Myrtle Beach that feels more like a local find than a tourist spot, Tidewater is definitely worth checking out. Great food, comfortable atmosphere, good service, and family-friendly. We'll be back.

Tight quarters in the dining area and we were seated right away. Calamar appetizer was very good. I had the prime rib which was very good as was the sauteed whitefish that my wife got which hers was a huge portion. Green beans and mashed potatoes very good to.
